Round 1 – Wells attempts a couple of spinning attacks. Both so far very tentative. Clean jab by Griffin. Clean combo by Griffin. So far, he’s looking like the more disciplined striker. Griffin is cautiously and steadily pressing Wells. Two minutes left. Very low activity. Jab by Wells. Oh! Big left by Wells and then he takes down Griffin. Griffin immediately back up, but now he’s being pressed against the cage. Back to striking. Oh! Wild shots from both! It looks like Griffin clipped Wells. Wells backing up now. They scramble and Griffin ends on top. The bell rings.

Round 2 – Both very tentative again. Oh! Wells counters with a big shot and puts Griffin on skates. Wells closes the distance and presses Griffin against the cage. They’re back to striking. The fight is picking up here. Griffin is landing, but Wells counters seems to be doing a lot more damage. Wells is now attacking with sidekicks to the body. Big right lands for Griffin and it backs up Wells. Griffin tries to go for furtehr shots, but Wells closes the distance and presses Griffin against the cage. The bell rings.

Round 3 – Griffin comes out pressing Wells. Wells with a big counter to a leg kick. Clean combo by Griffin, who keeps backing up Wells. Oh! Big right hand by Griffin. Another right by Griffin. Griffin is walking down Wells. Two minutes left. Wells goes for a spinning kick, Griffin times it and tries to take him down. Griffin comes up short in the takedown, but presses Wells against the cage. Griffin working hard to takedown Wells, but unsuccessful so far. Wells is defending well. The bell rings with Griffin pressing Wells against the cage.
