The
Ultimate Fighting Championship’s rumored returned to
Manchester, England, has been confirmed.

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced Wednesday that UFC 304 will
take place on July 27 at the Co-op Live, the largest arena in the
U.K. It will be the first sporting event to be held at the
Manchester-based venue.

“I’m so excited to get back to Manchester. And no better time than
this summer,” said UFC president and CEO Dana White in a release.
“We have two champions from the U.K. and fans have been dying for a
UFC [pay-per-view] event. So here we come to the largest indoor
arena in the U.K. See you soon, England.”

While no bouts were revealed for the card, welterweight champion
Leon
Edwards and interim heavyweight king Tom
Aspinall have been rumored for the event. UFC 304 will air
during the traditional pay-per-view time slot for a card in the
United States, as prelims kick off at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT followed
by the main draw at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Other British fighters
who could be booked for UFC 304 include Paddy
Pimblett, Molly
McCann, Michael
Page and Arnold
Allen, to name a few.

UFC 304 marks the promotion’s first trip to Manchester since

UFC 204 in October 2016. In that card’s headliner, Michael
Bisping retained his middleweight crown via unanimous decision
in a rematch against rival Dan
Henderson.
