The pair faced massive opposition in Russia following the ceremony but had plans to flee to Moscow together.

But a heartbroken Aisylu has now revealed that they have separated less than a year into their marriage.

After finding Daniil plotting hook ups on a dating site, the mum has been left with no option but to file for divorce.

Aisylu told local media: “I was embarrassed to admit it.”

She adopted Daniil after meeting him at an orphanage where she gave singing lessons when he was aged just 13, according to local media.

“Our relationship is perfect. We can’t live without each other. We are on the same wavelength,” she said.

But Aisylu also revealed how their weird wedding had shattered her relationship with her family.

Aisylu said: “Now neither Dad nor Uncle Renat, who used to understand me, are there anymore.

“And those who remain are afraid the dirt will rub off so they turned away.”

She added: “Although they were at our wedding, and then on TV shows talking about it.

“TV liked our story, and we didn’t refuse anyone to show that everything is transparent with us, no dirty secrets, everything is for the sake of creativity.

“I am a teacher, Daniil is a student.”

The couple had fled to the Russian capital Moscow after locals in their more traditional Kazan hometown turned against them.

Local media reported that Daniil has not commented on the split.

Aisylu said: “Daniil is truly talented, I’m telling you this as an experienced musician.”

She made headlines around the world after news of the wedding emerged in Russian media and authorities took away her five other children – four girls and one boy.

But Aisylu fought the move, complaining that some have been put back into care homes while others have returned to family members.

It was also reported that Aisylu has a biological son from an earlier marriage, although no further details have been provided.

Local media reported that Aisylu began adopting children after encountering orphans during a film project with a Tatarstan TV station.

Following the wedding, she planned to flee Tartarstan with her new husband and reunite with her previously adopted children so she can take them to Moscow “where they can live freely”.

Laws on adopted relationships

RELATIONSHIPS within adopted family’s aren’t unheard of but there are specific rules in place as to who you can and can’t marry.

In the UK, a person cannot marry any of the following relatives:

  • a child, including an adopted child
  • a parent, including an adoptive parent

The Adoption and Children Act 2002 states that an adopted person is to be treated in law as if they were born as the child of the adopters or adopter.

If they attempt to get married, the marriage will be automatically void.

However, adopted children are allowed to marry the rest of their adoptive family, including their adoptive brother or sister.

You cannot legally get married in England or Wales until you are 18.

Rules on adopted relationships may vary in different countries across the world.
