A POPULAR influencer died from pneumonia aged only 28 after she was misdiagnosed by medics.
Doctors assumed mum-of-three Tatielle Ferreira had dengue fever after she had complained about vomiting and pain.
She went to the emergency care unit in Divinopolis, Brazil, on April 16 after experiencing diarrhoea and vomiting, and was sent home with medication.
But only four days later, the influencer, known for her weight loss tips and self-deprecating humour, returned to hospital with respiratory problems.
X-rays revealed Tatielle had pneumonia, and medics prescribed her antibiotics before she was discharged again.
Later that day, her condition worsened and she had to be rushed to hospital.
The next day, she was intubated and transferred to a local hospital where she tragically died.
Tatielle leaves behind a husband and three young children.
She rose to fame online after posting about everyday life and her routine with kids to her 74,700 Instagram followers.
Tatielle was also a keen singer and posted her music videos on Youtube.
Her heartbroken husband, Jeremias de Jesus, told local media: “I’ve lost everything, my rock, my foundation.
“I don’t even know where to begin again.”
The grieving family were left shocked with the sudden death of Tatielle, and accused the medics of negligence.
Jeremias added: “Everything could have been different on the 16th, when she was sent back home without even getting a test.
“Nothing can bring my wife back, but I want her passing to be investigated so that what’s happening to me doesn’t happen to others.”
The authorities in Divinopolis have launched an investigation at the emergency care unit to determine if malpractice was involved.
The results of the probe are expected to be revealed within a month.
