Peter McGrail (8-1, 5 KOs) and Marc Leach (18-3-1, 4 KOs) have both made the 122-pound limit ahead of their headline act on the Matchroom NXTGN card tomorrow night in Liverpool, England.
Liverpool’s McGrail hit the scale at 121.8 pounds. Salford’s Leach weighed in at 121.2 pounds.
The WBA international super bantamweight title will be on the line. The fight is also a final eliminator for Dennis McCann’s British title.
Leach comes in to replace Ja’Rico O’Quinn who pulled out due to personal reasons. O’Quinn scored a surprise fifth round knockout over the Commonwealth gold medalist last December, handing McGrail his only professional loss.
