He was killed on March 10 during an operation in the Gaza Strip, IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari confirmed today.

Issa was the deputy commander of Hamas’ military wing, and died alongside another top terror chief – Ghazi Abu Tamaa.

The terror boss reported directly to Sinwar, the monster dubbed “The Hamas Bin Laden” who masterminded the October massacre in Israel.

He was at the top of Israel’s most-wanted list, alongside Mohammed Deif and Sinwar.

Israeli forces are still hunting both, despite some reports Deif was killed in an earlier strike.

He has been the IDF’s most-wanted man for decades and has dodged over a dozen assassination attempts and countless strikes from Israel over the years.

Hagari said: “We have checked all the intelligence.

“Marwan Issa was eliminated in the strike we carried out around two weeks ago.”

The US announced his death days ago, but Israel has just verified the information.
