Moviefone’s 2024 Summer Movie Preview.
Summer 2024 is almost here and with it comes the sun, the beach and summer movies!
The summer movie season will officially begin on May 3rd when the big screen adaption of the popular 80’s TV series ‘The Fall Guy,’ which stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, opens in theaters.
This summer will also offer animated sequels (‘Inside Out 2’ and ‘Despicable Me 4’), horror movies (‘The Watchers’ and ‘Trap’), Westerns (‘Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1’ and ‘Chapter 2’), live-action sequels (‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’) and live-action prequels (‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ and ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’), as well as franchise continuations like ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ and ‘Alien: Romulus’.
With May approaching, Moviefone is counting down the most anticipated movies of summer 2024, both theatrically and streaming!
